Charged: Cruelty to Animals
On January 16, 2012, Scott Herndon shot his neighbor’s Chocolate Lab. He said he thought the dog was going to chase his chickens. He acknowledged the dog had never bothered his chickens, was eighty feet from the chickens, and was running in the opposite direction when shot. Scott was charged with “cruelty to animals,” a misdemeanor. (DR 289/164)

Dancing with dark money

In June 2023, Scott Herndon asserted that there’s no such thing as dark money in political campaigns. This is interesting because he was supported by multiple PAC’s. One such group,  Citizens Alliance of Idaho, gave him over $11,000 for his primary election in 2022. Citizens Alliance of Idaho, took money from people and groups all around the country. If that wasn’t enough, other national and state PAC’s either donated to or supported his campaign.

the durst disaster

You might remember something about the West Bonner County School District having some issues in mid- late 2023. The crisis was centered around the school board hiring an unqualified superintendent against the will of the community. Branden Durst was hired and outrage encircled the school district. Scott Herndon said he didn’t have a preferred candidate. But did you know, SCOTT HERNDON WAS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.

Don’t forget, because the school board did not listen to the community outrage, they overwhelmingly recalled two board members, forcing Durst to resign as Superintendent. Herndon is not a man of the people or a patriot. He is a man of helping his friends and his own special interests.
